How to setup Call Lists for One Call Now

Question

How do I setup the Call Lists that are going to sync with One Call Now?

Answer
  1. Log into Generations.

  2. School > Operations > Configure MMS/One Call Now Auto-Link

  3. Make sure that your schools are setup with starting/end dates and the correct school year.

  1. Student Roster Setup Let’s go to the

  1. This list will import a list of student roster with designated contact info for the schools that you configured. Make sure to

  2. Select School – Select school to configure.

  3. Fields used in the Student Roster Export – These are the fields that need to go up in the export. You can change the phone as well as the contact that you are associating with the child. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to add additional contact info in the next panel.

  4. Configure up to 15 additional fields to be included – This is where you add additional info you would like to be on this student roster. The Select Field is the MMS field you’d like to use. Contact is where you specify which of the student contacts that field may or may not be associated with. Heading is the heading for the field that will be in the CSV file that is created for the student roster export.

  5. Copy your settings to other schools if you want to save the trouble of recreating your settings.

  6. Make sure to Save once you are finished.

  1. Staff Roster Setup – This export is your staff contact list in OCN. Make sure you check the box that enables Staff Roster file creation for this school if you want to use this list.

  1. Select School – Select school to configure.

  2. Fields used in the Staff Roster export – These are the required fields for this export. They cannot be changed.

  3. Configure up to 5 additional fields to be included – Similar to the student export except you only have 5 additional fields that you can add.

  4. Staff to exclude from export – If you don’t want certain staff members to be included in this export, select them in this section.

  5. Copy your settings to other schools if you want to save the trouble of recreating your settings.

  6. Make sure to Save once you are finished.

  1. Attendance Call List Setup 1 – This export is where you can set up an absent or tardy call list. Make sure you check the box that enables Attendance Call List 1 file creation for this school if you want to use this list.

  1.  Select School – Select school to configure.

  2. Fields used in the Attendance Call List File – These are the required fields for the attendance call list file. It defaults to using CPHONE1 from Contact 1 but you can add additional phone numbers as well as contacts in this section. Up to three phone numbers total can be used for this call list.

  3. Daily Attendance Codes for a student to be included in the export – These attendance codes will determine who is exported on a given day. Select multiple codes by CTR + Click.

  4. Copy your settings to other schools if you want to save the trouble of recreating your settings.

  5. Make sure to Save once you are finished.
