Prior to Using the Change Password Functionality

  1. Click Admin

  2. Security

  3. Set Password Policy

User-added image

  1. In the administrator Tab:
  1. Set Minimum password length to 8
  2. Set password strength to level 3

  1. Repeat this process for the Staff and teachers Tab

  2. Click OK

Please note: This will force all users logging in to MMS or Portals, whose passwords do not meet the minimum criteria to change their password. This is an efficient way to allow users to create their own, “Change Password Utility” compatible passwords.
