SummaryThe following article is designed to walk the user through the basic steps involved in checking the Microsoft (MS) Remote Desktop Connection Version Number.

The minimum compatible version of Microsoft (MS) Remote Desktop Connection required by the CR Core Hosting Platform (CHP) is version 6.29.x.

Using a lower version of the MS Remote Desktop Client, will cause the user to be repeatedly prompted to login by the system, without providing an error.

  1. Click the “computer icon” in the upper left hand corner of the remote desktop connection window

  2. Selecting “about” from the dropdown menu.

  3. Locate the Shell or Control version number (Orange).
