The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of each operation in Scheduling Operations with access to other resources that provide more detailed information.
Log into MMS through the SSO page.
Click on the Scheduling tile. The following window opens:
Return to the Home page by clicking in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
Manage Course Requests
Use the Manage Course Requests operation to import students' course request selections from the MMS Online Course Registration and to clear the request table when the students’ course requests have been imported.
Before importing student course requests from the CR Family/Parent/Student Portals, it is important to understand how the information is saved on the website. Each course that is selected by a student or parent is automatically saved to the Student Course Requests Table. Students or parents can then end the session by closing their web browser. They are welcome to resume the course section process during another session (on a different day, etc.). When ready to submit their selections, a parent or student will click the Finalize Selection button on the website to signify that they have completed their selection of courses. After the finalized status is set, no further changes are allowed for that student through the website.
